Some Recent Pictures

Here are a few pictures taken recently...

My new haircut. It's pretty short, but I really like it. I get pretty bad bedhead though. : )

Can you see those teeth? She's got 2, bottom front.

Amelia LOVES her food! At this moment she had knocked my hand trying to grab the spoon. And I believe was preparing to make a "raspberry" noise. Yikes!

I'm sure you could guesss that this was taken on my birthday. : )

Love those smiles. : )

Those too! Doesn't she look like a big girl?

The girls...

Here's a video of the girls taken the evening of my birthday.

They days pass so quickly

Wow! I can't believe that Amelia is already 6 months old! We thought you might like to know how she's growing...

Amelia is such a happy baby, at least when she doesn't mind that I'm not holding her. We're getting into a mommy-centered stage, unfortunately. Otherwise, she's a content little girl, very smiley and curious. She has 2 teeth now (bottom front) and is eating lots of different baby foods and smashed up fresh foods. She loves to eat and drink water from a cup and gets quite upset if you won't share.
Amelia can sit up on her won without falling over, roll over front-to-back and back-to-front, and turn in a circle and scootch around on her belly. I'm expecting that she'll be close to crawling by Christmas. LOOK OUT CHRISTMAS TREE!!! : ) She's pretty average in size, in the 50-60% for both height and weight. This has worked out perfectly for clothing, as Kaiyah was one season and size ahead of her.
But most of all, she loves her sister! The smiles she gives her are like nothing else. I hope they'll be great friends.

Finally some pictures of our trip to Indiana

The girls and I went to Indiana in September for the week so Chris could get school work done without distraction. (His last class is next week! Hooray!) We had a great time with everyone and the girls enjoyed seeing their "greats", cousins, and friends. Here are a few pictures:

"Papa holding me!" is what Kaiyah says everytime she sees this picture. She loves and prays for her Papa.

I was amazed by how similar Evie and Amelia are becoming. Beside Evie being so much bigger, they could really be twins! Evie is in the green shirt, Amelia in the pink.

Great-Grandma Reid with her two newest grandbabies! She loved having them both there. Too fun!

Kaiyah and Great-Grammie had a great time hanging out, walking outside and swinging.
